Opening Doors Seminar and Portfolio Review - Date change (NSW)
Back by popular demand, the Opening Doors seminar is just around the corner.
Are you about to graduate? Concerned you won’t be able to find a job?
You’ve done all the hard work - organised the portfolio but now how to get your foot in the door and get your first job.
Robyn Robins, university lecturer and director of brand agency Cardinalbrand in Melbourne, presents Opening Doors which is a seminar developed for design students finishing formal studies and looking for a job.
Robyn has over fifteen years experience in brand development, strategy, communication and training. Robyn is a university lecturer in design management and has published several books. She will offer you insights into the marketplace and methods of how you can best sell yourself to the most influential and desirable agencies.
Standing on the threshold of the job market can be frightening and bewildering but this seminar will give you an edge over your competitors. Find out where to source valuable information, and how best to use it to your advantage.
If you are a final year student – come along to the seminar and hear how to make the most of your greatest potential, as well as the boring but necessary, letter writing, telephone and interview techniques,
In just a couple of hours (and less than it would cost you for a couple of drinks at the pub), you can increase your chances to kick start your career path in the right direction.
After the talk there will be a team of professional designers on hand to review your portfolio. Spaces will be limited for the reviews so book in early. If you have already booked in, you will be first on the list for the review session.
